Spring 2025

During the months of April and May we hardly stopped. In fact, if I think about it, the production of steel and aluminium accessories - bridges, anchor points on the shore and on the pier - started in March, which also means that there was a constant coordination of plans, control of the various stages of construction and the struggle to meet deadlines. Add to this the fact that these processes had to be coordinated for four sites and a total of eight jetties, and it is fair to say that it was a struggle.
We used every solution and built on almost every type of water surface. We have been on the Danube, on the Tisza dead-branch as well as on Lake Tisza, but we have also been around Pécs.
We used fixed anchoring on the bank, we used column anchoring, but there were also places where we used winches and wheels because of the high water level changes, and there were also places where we used weights to anchor and where we used bridge with a lockable door.
The changing weather conditions in May made the planning of the works even more challenging. The alternation of hot and cold, rain and thunderstorms or strong winds encouraged us to run a plenty of times, although it was a shame to run, but we found it very useful at times like those.

But the final result was compensating and I'd like to share it with you, with a few photos and a short video of one of the showers that hit us in Pécs.
